According to a report from the Vietnam Economic website on December 29, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam has just released its 2024 work summary report. The report indicates that in 2024, the revenue of Vietnam's Information and Communications sector reached 4.244 trillion VND (approximately 166.18 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 13.2%. Of this, the digital technology (ICT) industry generated about 3.878 trillion VND (approximately 151.13 billion USD), marking a year-on-year growth of 14.1%. The export of electronics and hardware products has become a highlight of the ICT industry, with total exports amounting to 132.34 billion USD, a 16.78% year-on-year increase. The export target for Vietnam's electronics and hardware products in 2025 is set at 160 billion USD, representing a 20.8% growth compared to 2024.
